Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is a Christ centered, lay-caregiver (non-pastoral) program providing confidential, one-to-one emotional and spiritual support to individuals experiencing life challenges like grief, divorce, illness, loss of job, life transitions, spiritual crisis, etc.. Volunteers with over 50 hours of training offer weekly in-person care, fostering a supportive relationship for as long as needed. Form Coming SoonGrief Ministry
Chad Kreider is the Visitation/Grief Elder at Elk Creek Church. He is committed to offering compassionate spiritual and emotional support to the Elk Creek family, as well as to anyone you know who may have a need. Either He or someone from his team are available to meet with you or others that are in the hospital, at home, in jail, or facing a crisis in any setting. If you are struggling with grief, whether it be recent or many years ago, we have people and resources available to help you work through the steps of grief. We are available to visit and provide care, encouragement, and a supportive presence for any need.
We also have a Grief Support and Education Class happening now. It is being led by Nish Weiseth, an Elk Creek member who works as a hospice chaplain and bereavement specialist for St.Luke’s in McCall. It is a 6-session class open to anybody.
Prayer Ministry
Our Prayer Room is open for you to receive prayer on Sunday mornings after the service from Elk Creek members.
There is an open prayer time every first Monday of the month at 5:30pm in the Prayer Room. Everyone is welcome!

Addiction
Elk Creek Church currently doesn’t have an addiction ministry, but here are some resources in McCall.
Have a family member that is dealing with addiction? Alanon meets Tuesday from 5:15-6:15pm at Elk Creek Church in Classroom 1 in the Admin Building. If you would like to join on Zoom, call Becky, 208-890-1664, or Pauline, 760-505-0402.
